ID: 4410 Location: HAWAII Big Island Kona - Our group is seeking one full-time staff physician to join us in the summer 2009. We have been staffing the ED at this 94-bed acute care hospital since 1981! The annual ED volume is about 18,000 with high acuity and a diverse patient mix. Our staff includes six full-time EM Board Certified physicians, and an excellent compliment of part-time physicians to help cover vacations, emergencies, etc. We have 28-hours of physician coverage daily, and the shifts are 7a-5p, 2p-10p and 9p-7a. Interested candidates must be Board Certified in emergency medicine by ABEM or ABOEM.
