JSUMC (502 bed hospital) is the first Children’s Hospital in Monmouth and Ocean Counties. As home to the region’s only Level II Trauma Center with a pediatric commitment, the area’s first dedicated pediatric intensive care unit, and the only university-level neonatal intensive care unit in the two-county area, the pediatrics team has the on-site expertise to treat the most critically ill and injured children in this area. 8 hours/day of pediatric coverage.
