Stretching along the shore of Lake Michigan and south into the rolling hills of northern Indiana is Lake County. The town of Munster is one of the major service areas for the more than 400,000 residents of the county.
The residents of Munster enjoy ready access to the open spaces to the south, Lake Michigan beaches to the north and is only 30 minutes from the city life of Chicago. (See the Map)
Lake County is the all-season playground for lovers of the outdoors. From winter through fall, visitors can take advantage of all that Lake Michigan has to offer. Lake County's park system is recognized as one of the premier systems in the nation.

Munster, with a population of 22,000, lies in the Chicago Metropolitan Area. Among other amenities, the the town is home to the Centre for Visual and Performing Arts and ten parks. Centennial Park, with the Centennial Park Golf Course, is the newest and largest.
Additionally, the town is renowned for its youth baseball programs. Munster's Babe Ruth All Star teams have won six state championships since 1985.
National and International air travel from nearby Chicago's O'Hare International Airport or Midway International Airport is a major convenience.

The Joffrey Ballet and Chicago Festival Ballet perform in various venues. In the summer, many outdoor concerts are given in Grant Park and Millennium Park.
